Customs
Shipments booked via DHL for delivery to private individuals can only be sent to the cities of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mariupol, Lviv and Simferopol.
Detailed goods description for each individual item is required. (General description like gift or personal effects is not acceptable by Customs).
Adoption of new version of Customs Code from Friday 1 June 2012 in Ukraine means that all non-doc shipments under customs control or not received by consignee, when the storage period exceeds 30 days, will be returned to the shipper, without informing the sender or receiver.
Before sending your parcel to Ukraine, please make sure that none of the items in your parcels contravene the restrictions imposed by customs at destination.

Documents Needed
After you have paid for a shipping service to Ukraine, you will be redirected
to a page where you can download and print out the relevant shipping labels, i.e
AWB (Courier Air Waybills - barcode) - Proforma or Commercial invoice - Address label.
The above documents are standard for any international shipment.
Please note, if additional documentation is required for the import of any particular item, it is the
customer's responsibility to provide them at destination.
Restrictions
Goods travelling by 'Cargo' are subject to different restrictions to those travelling as carry-on
luggage.
A shipment to Ukraine is deemed unacceptable if: it is classified as
hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air
Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) or other relevant organisation.
Many items which appear harmless in everyday use can pose danger on air transport and are consequently
forbidden for transport.
The following page displays a sampling of common prohibited and restricted goods.

Packing Advice
Your parcel must be boxed and well packaged. This will reduce the risk of damage to any item during
transit or any associated automated distribution process.
Please be aware the item is not taken by hand from collection to destination and will visit many sorted
facilities on its journey. For that reason, you need to protect the items to ensure they make it from A
to B safely.
The following packaging guidelines are recommendations to assist you in packaging your shipment:

Shipment Protection
When you book a shipping service to Ukraine, you will be able to choose an
appropriate level of cover for your shipment. We offer enhanced parcel protection for up to £2000

parcel passing minimum packaging requirements.
Please note that the declared value for customs purposes is not related to the declared value selected

The concept of choice is central to everything we do at RapidParcel.com. To begin with, we're a courier comparison website, so if you're arranging a package delivery to Lviv then you'll be able to choose from a list of painstakingly selected, tried and tested couriers. The choices don't end there, however. At RapidParcel.com we give you options through every part of the process, meaning you can tailor virtually every facet of your Lviv package delivery so that it exactly meets your needs, requirements and budget.
Having survived the Second World War and its time under Soviet occupation almost totally unscathed, the historic old town of Lviv, complete with ancient buildings and cobbled streets, has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Rather than commerce and industry, Lviv is a city that is based largely around culture and education. The city is home to three major universities, eight institutes of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine and over forty research institutes. This concentration of scientific knowledge helps to bring more than a hundred thousand students to Lviv every year. The churches and buildings in the historic centre of Lviv date from as far back as the thirteenth century and the rest of the buildings in the 'Old Town' form a dazzling mix of architectural styles, with some in each of the baroque and classic styles - a heady combination which, together with the thriving cultural life of the town, helps to draw tourists in from all over Eastern Europe.
It doesn't matter why you have to arrange a package delivery to Lviv, the choices start opening up as soon as you decide to book shipping to Lviv. The initial choice you have is the means of accessing our website. We've shifted almost everything online, which means selecting the courier and delivery options and booking them are simpler and quicker than ever. You can opt to go online and arrange your parcel delivery to Lviv through your computer or, if you're out and about, by using our exclusive mobile-optimised website (Mobisite), which means you get the same fantastic features but it's all in the palm of your hand wherever you are. It might be that this Lviv parcel delivery is the first one you've arranged and, even though our booking system is built for ease of use, you'll feel more confident visiting one of our convenient parcel booking and drop-off points around the UK, where experienced staff will guide you through the options on offer for your Lviv shipping.
Once you're actually booking, the choices don't stop - you may opt for the courier and deal that are best suited to your Lviv package delivery and choose whether to go for standard next-day delivery, a timed next-day delivery, or an economy delivery. Should you feel it's necessary, you can take advantage of all the packing materials available through our online shop - padding, sturdy boxes, and so on - to ensure that your Lviv parcel delivery is totally safe in transit. It's not just Lviv shipping that comes with these options, of course. A parcel delivery to Zaporizhia or package delivery to Donetsk can be arranged with the same mass of options and choices, right up to and including the point at which you pay for our service using any one of a range of different payment options.
