Customs
Shipments booked via DHL for delivery to private individuals can only be sent to the cities of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mariupol, Lviv and Simferopol.
Detailed goods description for each individual item is required. (General description like gift or personal effects is not acceptable by Customs).
Adoption of new version of Customs Code from Friday 1 June 2012 in Ukraine means that all non-doc shipments under customs control or not received by consignee, when the storage period exceeds 30 days, will be returned to the shipper, without informing the sender or receiver.
Before sending your parcel to Ukraine, please make sure that none of the items in your parcels contravene the restrictions imposed by customs at destination.

Documents Needed
After you have paid for a shipping service to Ukraine, you will be redirected
to a page where you can download and print out the relevant shipping labels, i.e
AWB (Courier Air Waybills - barcode) - Proforma or Commercial invoice - Address label.
The above documents are standard for any international shipment.
Please note, if additional documentation is required for the import of any particular item, it is the
customer's responsibility to provide them at destination.
Restrictions
Goods travelling by 'Cargo' are subject to different restrictions to those travelling as carry-on
luggage.
A shipment to Ukraine is deemed unacceptable if: it is classified as
hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air
Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) or other relevant organisation.
Many items which appear harmless in everyday use can pose danger on air transport and are consequently
forbidden for transport.
The following page displays a sampling of common prohibited and restricted goods.

Packing Advice
Your parcel must be boxed and well packaged. This will reduce the risk of damage to any item during
transit or any associated automated distribution process.
Please be aware the item is not taken by hand from collection to destination and will visit many sorted
facilities on its journey. For that reason, you need to protect the items to ensure they make it from A
to B safely.
The following packaging guidelines are recommendations to assist you in packaging your shipment:

Shipment Protection
When you book a shipping service to Ukraine, you will be able to choose an
appropriate level of cover for your shipment. We offer enhanced parcel protection for up to £2000
for a small additional fee.
If you do not purchase enhanced Shipment Protection, your shipment will be only covered to a maximum

parcel passing minimum packaging requirements.
Please note that the declared value for customs purposes is not related to the declared value selected

At RapidParcel.com we offer the same dedicated care whether your package delivery to Dnipropetrovsk is corporate or personal in nature; we handle every single package as if it's of vital importance. That's the reason we keep such a close eye on what might be called the basics of organising a parcel delivery to Dnipropetrovsk. Basics like only ever using the best couriers around, getting a price for your Dnipropetrovsk parcel delivery that won't be bettered anywhere else, and providing shipment protection that should genuinely put your mind at ease. On top of these standard requirements, we provide a range of extras that we like to think lift RapidParcel.com above every other courier comparison and booking website, and which mean that every customer can tailor their Dnipropetrovsk shipping to precisely meet their individual needs, rather than having to cope with a 'one size fits all' Dnipropetrovsk package delivery service.
Dnipropetrovsk is one of the Ukraine's major industrial powerhouses, a key driver in the nuclear, arms and space industries. Whilst still part of the former Soviet Union it was a closed and secretive city but, in more recent times, its economy has been based more upon the production of items such as agricultural equipment, mining combines, tractors and refrigerators. In stark contrast to this leaning towards heavy industry, the city also boasts a thriving textiles industry, with dressmaking and sewing factories producing goods for Germany, Canada, France and the United Kingdom. The city's international standing is boosted by its status as a major rail hub, with trains running daily from its two main terminals to many parts of Eastern Europe.
Even though our website has been put together with customers' convenience in mind, and is laid out in a manner that will make booking a package delivery to Dnipropetrovsk speedy and simple, we understand that many people may still want some help when sorting out their shipping arrangements. It could be the first time you've organised shipping to Dnipropetrovsk and you may be slightly wary of the prospect, or perhaps you don't have easy access to the Internet or would feel more at ease conducting your business in person. It is with exactly these situations in mind that we maintain our convenient parcel drop-off and booking points. Situated at airports and train stations, these drop-off points are managed by experienced members of staff who'll be able to guide you through organising a Dnipropetrovsk parcel delivery, a parcel delivery to Kharkiv, package delivery to Kiev or shipping to anywhere within the Ukraine or beyond. They'll deal with any queries you might have and highlight the extras we provide that might be appropriate for you, such as online tracking of your package delivery to Dnipropetrovsk and options like economy delivery. They will ensure that you understand exactly what you're paying for when booking Dnipropetrovsk shipping.
At some of the drop-off points you'll find shops selling wrapping and packaging materials, with which you can be totally certain that whatever you're shipping to Dnipropetrovsk will get there in perfect condition. Our drop-off points are yet another example of our desire to shape our business to meet your needs.
