Customs Advice
The importation of certain products into a country is restricted in order to protect the economy and
safety of its citizens. The restrictions may be imposed by Customs or by any other agency which has
regulatory authority.
We provide a shipping service only and Customs at the parcel's destination will determine whether any
charges are payable on your package. All duties, taxes and/or quarantine fees applied are at the
discretion of local customs or governmental organisations and are out of our control.
If the addressee refuses to pay duties/taxes, the parcel may be held, returned (if allowed by Customs)
or destroyed, and additional costs may be incurred. As per Terms and Conditions, those charges will be
billed to the sender.
Please note, no shipping costs are recoverable for parcels held or destroyed, even if shipping
protection cover has been purchased.
Majority of parcels can be delivered door to door, once it has cleared customs at destination. However,
some countries have a door to airport service only. In those countries, the recipients may have to
present themselves to either Customs or the local courier's office to take possession of their
consignment.
We advise you to verify independently, all Customs, Governmental and Quarantine regulations. These rules
can and do frequently change without prior notice or recourse.

A shipment to Netherlands is deemed unacceptable if: it is classified as
hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air
Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) or other relevant organisation.
Many items which appear harmless in everyday use can pose danger on air transport and are consequently
forbidden for transport.
The following page displays a sampling of common prohibited and restricted goods.

Packing Advice
Your parcel must be boxed and well packaged. This will reduce the risk of damage to any item during
transit or any associated automated distribution process.
Please be aware the item is not taken by hand from collection to destination and will visit many sorted
facilities on its journey. For that reason, you need to protect the items to ensure they make it from A
to B safely.
The following packaging guidelines are recommendations to assist you in packaging your shipment:

Shipment Protection
When you book a shipping service to Netherlands, you will be able to choose an
appropriate level of cover for your shipment. We offer enhanced parcel protection for up to £2000
for a small additional fee.
If you do not purchase enhanced Shipment Protection, your shipment will be only covered to a maximum

Without using a courier comparison site like RapidParcel.com, organising a delivery to Eindhoven would be a long and difficult process, involving tracking down suitable couriers, quizzing them over precisely what level of service they provide, quite possibly being surprised at the cost of delivery, and so on. We realise that, especially if you're running a company that needs to arrange Eindhoven shipping on a regular basis, this is work you would much rather avoid, instead spending the time concentrating on the day-to-day running of your business. At RapidParcel.com we pride ourselves on taking as much of the work of organising a package delivery to Eindhoven as possible out of your hands, and using the latest in web technology to simplify and streamline the process of arranging such a shipment.
The degree to which the UK trades with Europe means that there will always be a heavy demand for shipping to the Netherlands, whether it's for a parcel delivery to Rotterdam, a package delivery to The Hague or shipping to Eindhoven. Eindhoven itself first emerged as a small village around the year 1232 and has grown over the years to become one of the country's biggest cities, much of this growth being put down to the presence of Daf Trucks and Philips. The fact that the electronics firm Philips, in particular, has always been based in Eindhoven has led to it evolving as a major regional centre for technological industries, with over a quarter of the jobs in the region being based in these fields. Many research institutes in the city work alongside industrial partners to develop new products, industries and initiatives; one of the latest examples is a partnership between IPS Packaging and Thales Cryogenetics to operate a research laboratory developing hi-tech packaging materials.
The business and personal delivery courier specialists
Whatever your business in Eindhoven, if you need to arrange an Eindhoven package delivery on a regular basis or in bulk, then you'll appreciate the lengths to which we go to accommodate the needs of our corporate customers. Our bulk upload feature means that you can arrange numerous deliveries to multiple addresses simultaneously using the same simple steps required to make a single Eindhoven parcel delivery. The use of web technology to remove the need for long and complicated form filling and paperwork means that the time you have to spend arranging shipping to Eindhoven is kept to a minimum and, with it, the cost in man hours and the drain on your profits.
We also keep the cost in pounds and pence down as well as we offer some of the best courier discounts on the market for all of our customers, whether personal or business in nature. We can achieve this thanks to years of working with our courier partners, the relationship we have built with them and the sheer volume of work that we send them.
We go to the same lengths to make sure that it's as simple and quick to keep tabs on your Eindhoven parcel delivery once you've sent it on its way; our website tracks its progress in and out of every depot between the UK and its destination and, once again, it is as simple to use for multiple deliveries as it is for a single Eindhoven parcel delivery. So, if you want a combination of the best couriers, the best prices and convenient ease of use, then make RapidParcel.com your first port of call.
